My Focus

I have known I wanted to be an occupational therapist ever since I was a little girl. I was born premature with significant medical needs. I believe the services that I received helped to get me where I am today. I know first hand the difference that therapists make in a child's life.

Shortly after graduating, I realized there is so much to learn about the field of occupational therapy. I saw a significant need for support for parents, teachers, and students. It truly helps to have someone to guide and support you on your journey.

On a personal note, I live with my husband and our two puppies. I hope I am fortunate to have children of my own someday soon. I enjoy activities such as hiking, swimming, wine tasting, painting, and traveling. My dream is to provide support to families and students from anywhere.

Client Centered. Collaborative. Strengths Based. Empowerment

I use the DIR/Floortime framework to guide my intervention. I know first hand that working with children is not a one size fits all approach. Each child is unique and brings their own strengths and skills that can develop with time. I believe that the parent is the expert on their own child. My goal is to help parents understand their child’s needs so that they feel confident.
